THIS IS NOT A COMPLAINT, JUST WANNA HEAR WHAT THE VETS THINK OR NOOB'S

Well i was on my a shroom trip and some one was talking to me about the shroomery. i said to him, something ugly is going on in the shroomery, and i don't like it!

this post isn't about talking about tragedy's or personal wars. this post if for any one who thought of the same thing, and wouldn't mind posting what they think is getting ugly about the shroomery.

personally i first pondered under shrooms that it was the seniority treatment from the mods to the old posters. or basically the way new posters like my self are almost SPOOKED from continuing posting. well marking that one to humanity, i recently was informed that even mods are not as honest as their righteously bold printed names seem to be bold.

again this post is not about pointing finger but what i think is ugly about the shroomery. well i posted once before a thread about why you come to the shroomery, so now this thread is what you think is ugly about the shroomery.org

(shes a bit of ugly but i love her and her posters) except the scat fags) your dead).

I think people who have been here for a long time just can't let go to change.

That being said, the shroomery as a community has changed quite a bit. But I think the sole reason for that is numbers.

I'm sure most communties of 400 people were quite unified and close, but as soon as that community grows into the hundreds of thousand - millions, things change.

Unfortunetely, that's just the way it is.

Human beings post at the shroomery, what do you expect?

its def changed. alot more pointless posts and and alot more misinformation being passed around. even if they dont have anytihng to contribute, but like said above, the bigger the shroomery gets, the more youll have to accept it just wont be what it once was.

The heart of the Shroomery is the collective group of cultivation forums. They serve their purpose by informing and helping people proliferate psychoactive mushrooms for personal use.

In my opinion, the Shroomery's problem is that it attracts multitudes of dimwitted, incoherent, drug-starved, burned-out idiots - and then welcomes them with open arms.

i agree 100% i didn't even get my first post out without some one jumping down my neck. i barely post anymore due to the smart ass comments and sarcasm i know id get, its sucks when your here for help and real info, not sarcasm.

well i really don't see the problem with the newest posters. from what i hear its the ones that are set in their own ways and call the shroomery home. yet from what i put together their are people who go under puppet names and like to take pot shots at the shroomery or the people in it.
so the hard part for me is the shroomery is like a Illuminati of its own with its own Lil big brother and secret society's. the newest members wouldn't even been around long enough to know about the Lil nasty things in the shroomery history. some one needs to make a forum for all the bad events that happened that way we can all peace together a solution, or learn from others mistakes.

I think that's the biggest problem. I somewhat agree with ideotek.

Yes, there are some trouble makers who are old members, but I think what's feeding them to do such things as you suggested, if that's even the case, is the fact that there are so many "dimwitted, incoherent, drug-starved, burned-out idiots" coming in by the dozens upon dozens.

I think the problem is that noobs come here thinking the're going to be patted on the back for being idiotic and inane. That's not how real life works and that's not how it works here.

well i have a good example for that also their is a code of silence here on the boards. yet in that people are getting hurt and dieing. shit one of the posters i post along side with almost OD'ed on week end and i didn't even know till Monday he was telling every one sorry that what had happen. so all I'm saying is the mods need to encourage SITTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The job of the mods to to make sure things remain under control and civil on the boards. All members have a requirement to give good advice; it is not inherently the job of moderators. They are not supermen (and women) and can not be everywhere at once.

This website doesn't owe anybody anything, and the people who run it and moderate only have a responsibility to try and clear away misinformation and make sure people know how to do things safely and responsibly.

If people step away from their computers and act irresponsibly with their drugs, that is not the moderators' fault.
