I don't understand why your hating on alcohol users so much. That's intolerance. Sure, I drink a lot lately, but I've just moved to a new country and don't have any other sources of ...things.
You shouldn't take your aggression out on people that drink, your far more angry than I am, even after I've had two liters of red wine. Just calm down, maybe take up meditation or something. You seem to have a very angry bumble bee in your bonnet, dude. The mushrooms don't seem to be working for you at all.
Just RELAX.

does someone want to sum up for me how this post got 10 pages of replies??
the initial post just barely scrapes in under the nonsense-radar...
people w/ 1-2yrs on their belt hardly can talk about the past vs. present shroomery... i have seen very little real change here over the past two years since I've started posting regularly again.

on topic for one post i saw wayyy back there on the first page, I think the site itself promotes sitters... at least for tripping... it's always encouraged to have a sober trip-sitter... I can't speak for any other substances, we aren't really here to tell you how to take your pills or shoot up your dope..

No one said you were trying to be angry. I am sure it's not intentional. That's not the point. The point is, look in the mirror and realize you're a huge fucking hypocrite if you use anger and agression to point out that you don't agree with drinking because it makes you (here's the clincher...) --angry and agressive.
If you don't see the agression in your own posts, you might want to take a little breather and then come back and read through the thread again from the beginning.
EVERYONE has some sadness, anger, and aggression inside of them. Those who deny that part of themselves tend to express it outwardly unintentionally. Those who accept it as a part of who they are learn to keep it in their awareness so that they might keep it on a leash.
Not saying I'm better than you or any shit like that. Just trying to offer outside perspective. I deal with the same kinds of struggles, because it is a human struggle.
I'm just saying, you should worry about whether or not your own shit stinks instead of going around telling others that their's does.
Just own up, and recognize that you are human and therefore prone to mistakes. It's not that big a deal to make a mistake. WE ALL DO IT. The real deal is whether or not your a big enough man to accept yourself as human by admitting it when you fuck up.

lol-- this same tired back-biting pops up from time to time in every forum I've ever been involved in-- no matter the topic-- politics, cars, "hobbies" or whatever-- there are always people who feel inferior to "the elite" ones that always have the best comments and input, and always have a bone to pick (or monkey-wrench to throw) into the pool to try and incite some kind of sympathetic response.
I like this forum. I like many forums, actually-- I think they are, for me, the web's most valuable element. I've learned more about my personal interests from forum members than in any class or book that exists-- I cherish the knowledge and community of a group of people who care about the same things you do.
Be a part of it in whatever way you can be, and don't bitch about the fact that we aren't all part of the "most-favored" group. There are a lot of great people here, and a lot of idiots.
It's always going to be like this, so sit back and be a part of it.
