Ugh, and here it goes. This is exactly what I mean.
I'm not whining or bitching, I'm only fucking responding to the topic at hand. All I was saying is that there are plenty of douche bags on here that are just opinionated assholes looking for an argument, and this proves it. Just because I give my opinion, in relation to the topic, I'm now "whining". What the fuck? I don't even really care so much about it. I'm still posting, it's not deterring me, I'm just relating to the OP is all.

Using the "ignore" feature has helped me make this a nicer place to visit. Just like in the real world you'll get assholes and people that want to give you idiotic advice. I can't count the times when I've asked a question and had some 15 year old kid's respond. I'm ignoring 5 users so far, I promised myself that when I get to 10 I'm leaving. Mycotopia looks to be a promising alternative if you don't mind Hippie the dictator.

A lot of people join thinking it would be some escape from the "norm", where the process of meeting people and discussing things would be different then in real life, and when they find out they are completely wrong it means something is "seriously wrong with the shroomery"...and they get all butthurt about it.

I do think you are a little on the uptight side about things though.
It's not meant to be an insult, but maybe you should just let things slide off your shoulder a little more.
