 We need a picture editor

so we can edit the pictures we uploaded.
adding this feature would seriously lower the bandwidth used.
I myself have uploaded a single picture 2-3x just so I could enlarge an area or cut something out.
It does not by any means need to be nice, just very simple....cut,paste,and maybe a pencil to draw with.

I'm not aware of any good open-source web-based image editors, if you know of one please enlighten me. Or you can send me $599 and I'll install Pixenate.

Thanks for the link, unfortunately that looks like it's more of a gallery script (for categorizing and listing numerous images) which just has a few editing features thrown in. Even looking at the third party plugins I didn't see anything which would quite fit the bill. But you're on the right track and I'll keep looking too. The best I've found so far is this but it doesn't seem quite ready for prime time.

this one seems much nicer but i still havn't seen one with a pencil yet...
but this one here seems like it would be an improvement...at least we can crop

Well there are lots of promising looking projects with no files released, but nothing that I can actually use. Sorry, I guess I'd say download The Gimp or something.
