Anyone have an invite to a nice general torrent site similar to what demonoid offers? I tend to whore all sorts of completely random things but the one thing I noticed a specific porn torrent site does, that demonoid doesnt, is give back ratio for CONTINUING to seed a file you originally downloaded.
Example, I leech some link on demonoid for software X. Once it completes I force start it in bittorrent so it continues to upload for days or weeks later. On demonoid it never gives me upload points for that, where as on a few other private torrent sites I seem to get points for it.
So, I dont know if thats common or not but if someone has a popular and well used generalized torrent tracker site that gives ratio points for continuing to upload something you downloaded (not remaking an entire new torrent) that would be awsome.

I think when you continue to seed a torrent you've downloaded it does show on your ratio in demonoid.
It does with me anyway.

My demonoid ratio never updates itself. I've uploaded everything back again at least once, some things even over 20 times, but my ratio was still 1.83 last time I saw it before server crash.

i think that is part of what they are working on fixing during this "crash"
i know when you use bitlord for some reason the downloads do not affect ur ratio.
but when i use utorrent, they do... and it counts my uploads as well... i think it has something to do with how bitlord automatically seeds files that you have downloaded.

i was wanting to switch to utorrent but i have some files on azures that are still below 1 on share ratio, can i transfer them over to utorrent or just keep uploading then on azures until they are done?

There's an oink fix for windows, here's the info from the site:
"We apologise for the continuing DNS problems. You can get around this by adding our hostnames directly to your hosts file. Add the following lines to your \windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file (the number of spaces between the IP and the name doesn't matter as long as there's at least one space (or tab):
85.17.40.69 tracker.oink.me.uk
85.17.40.70 irc.oink.me.uk
85.17.40.71 oink.me.uk
They have a fix for mac's too...you can get to the site by posting the ip directly into your browser (85.17.40.71)
