Just by reading this thread I have a little bit of an idea of what you're talking about.. I just downloaded bittorrent about 4 days ago and I don't really know what I'm doing. I've never heard of oink or demoniod. I've only downloaded a few things on it and i've just been doing it by searching for a torrent on google. can someone please fill me in?

Oink and demonoid are just two of many private bittorrent trackers. They usually provide you with good download speeds and clean torrents. You have to register yourself there (You usually have to be invited by another member). Besides downloading stuff you have to upload them after you've finished downloading them for some time too, so others would get good DL speeds as well. If you download too much and you don't upload enough you'll probably get yourself banned. If you think you'd be able to keep and upload/download ratio over 1.0 (it means you upload at least as much as you've downloaded) I'm willing to send you a invite to demonoid. If you're interested drop me a PM.
