I mean really come on. You get all the warnings that it is incredibly addicting and can ruin your life. You know this but you do it anyways. Then you wanna whine to us about all the shit and all about the withdraws. You know what? Tough fucking shit, you got yourself into the mess willingly so don't come crying to me.

What about someone who dies in a car crash?
In both circumstances you know the risks, and chose to partake in said activity.
I agree with you, but thats jsut something to think about.

I'm not so sure about that. In some peoples' lives riding in/driving cars is necessary, but heroin is far from necessary with a higher rate of death per user.

My compassion is for the person in peril, it doesn't depend on how he's gotten into the mess.

So what about a lover takes the savings for a house you and them are going to get and gambles it in one shot. Now you two are hoemless. You still love the person even though they knew what they were doing? and the odds involved.

Or how about someone has a spray and if they spray it in the eyes it will make them go blind. They know this but spray it in the eyes anyways, now you got to lead them around because they were so fucking stupid to do it.

Hey Rahie check the new thread in OTD.
It's a good thing you aren't/never could become a doctor. I would hate to have someone as uneducated and cold hearted looking after my medical affairs.
If we apply your logic to everyone with a drug problem what do you think would happen to the crime rate???
Alcohol is very addictive. It has a withdrawal that's worse then heroin. Should we just turn our backs on everyone with a problem that doesn't fit into our society??
Or, maybe, use biological science, pharmacology, and compassion to deal with addiction problems.
I mean shit you've said some stupid shit before. But you attitude here is just fucking ice cold. You obviously lack allot of life experience and human interaction.

What about people who grew up in a said junkie enviroment?? They were never poperly warned of the problems and consequences the drug would have. Because the people who were supposed to be the ones to show them the right path didn't do so at all. And they fall into something like that and didn't fully understand what could happen. Would u not feel any sympathy for them? In a situation like that it wouldn't all in all be their fault.
And even for somebody u was addicted, but wanted to clean up and need help I see no reason why there shouldn't be someone to help them. Now if they "tried" to quit and just continued to do it without making any real effort, and just continued to ruin their lives and still complain about being addicted, then that would be the type that i wouldn't feel sorry for.
I have to agree that u r being a little cold hearted here. Being that there are different ways and situations that cause people to fall into such a bad way.

I have seen young children die before their time but leave behind such a legacy of love and joy that grief for their passing was tempered by the knowledge that their brief lives had given much to others."

Ok Psilocybeingzz I wrote about this issue in depth in a blog. Might be a little to long for you to hold attention to it, but give it a glimpse. Not saying you will understand any of it either...... http://bumpesc.prblogs.org/2006/04/05/heroin-addictsyou-never-know/
