Where do you worship or get the word of Christ?

Lately I've had the notion to start visiting different churches to find one that I like best. Of course I read from the Bible, but I also like to hear sermons from other people too. My favorite evangelicals or preachers are Billy Graham, Benny Hinn, and Bob Harrington. What about you all?

I go straight to the source. My favorite church is in the Temples of Creation, alone in the wilderness. No bible, doctrine or dogma necessary.

that must be beautiful. but i was talking more about a faith to live by.
whether you know it or not there are two types of people here and both are of faith.

What constitutes a faith to live by? Sounds like dogma to me.

whether you're a believer or non-believer because faith is needed when facts are absent. there are a lot of facts absent in the creation story. there are a lot of facts absent in how God loves us, but by faith we believe what those facts are.
atheism is a whole lot of facts missing or substituted trying to disprove the existence of God. so they have to have faith in their facts or the absence thereof. and i have to have a faith over my absence of fact or the evidence to the contrary. but i would rather have a faith in something rather than a faith in nothing because it makes a big difference. because with something that your faith is in you get something return for your faith in that somethings source.
again, faith is to live by and it's something beautiful.

faith is overrated and if you are just believing in faith just to make sure you might get something out of it in the end is ridiculous.atheism is saying ok look there are absolutely no scientific evidence that this 1 god exists why should we worship something that we cant prove exists?and thats were the Christians say you gatta have "faith" as a cop out just my 2cents

I disagree. Actually, everyone has faith in something. it might be a god, it might be an ideal, it might be science, or it might simply be themselves. The notion that faith is only something that has a religion or god connotation is very narrow thinking.
Faith exists is in many forms, all around, and in us.

But, it's not the same thing. I might have faith that the guy in the other lane isn't going to run the red light and smack me, because my light is green and his is red. That doesn't mean I don't watch where I'm going.
As an electrician, I have a meter that I can stick into a wall outlet and read the voltage. If it reads 240 volts, I have 'faith' that if I touch the wires, they'll shock me. A scientist has carbon dating equipment that can date the earth at several billion years old. He has 'faith' in his equipment, just as I have faith in mine, or we all have 'faith' that our car will start in the morning so we can get to work.
That isn't the same thing as having 'faith' that the world is only 6,000 years old, and that all the animals could talk until the serpent tempted Eve to eat the fruit that made her know right from wrong. Or that if you turn to look at your city as it burns you'll be turned into a pillar of salt, but if you commit incest with your two daughters, it's OK because it's the little girls fault anyway. Or to have faith that 'God' destroyed the whole world with a flood, and now promises to do it again with fire, but if you have 'faith' that human sacrifice can save you from this 'gods' damnation, you have a creed(faith) to live by. I don't go to church. I like to commune with Christ directly on the astral plane.

and have faith that the sun will rise again after being at its lowest point in the sky for three days before December 25th each year.
christ = the sun
salvation = spring
the time when the days become longer and the nights become shorter.
life goes on. everyone's happy.
