I went shroomin Monday last week, and couldn't find anything - it seemed like there was everything but the right kind of mushroom. I am in NW Louisiana (shreveport area). The high tomorrow is 85. There is plenty of shit where I go and it's on a bayou..Do you think it was just bad timing? I have heard that it is best to go RIGHT when the sun is coming up because the shrooms come up with the sun or something..could really use some help..any tips? Anybody know anything abot my area?

no they dont come up with the sun. uv rays decrease their potency somewhat but they grow when conditions are favorable. good luck

Rain, go after it rains! Cow shit is the place to go, and they grow in your area. Keep looking man, I hear they're poppin up all over right now in other areas of the south.

I went last night to a new field and found nothing.. I didnt see any aged cow shit, only new. I will be trying more fieldds as it rains more.

We're getting 1/2 an inch here abd the high tomorrow is 80F - hopefully it won't be a disapointment. Do they grow in mud or soggy dirt like by a bayou or something? There's this field on a bayou.. hopefully I will have something good to say tomorrow!

I found a couple this morning. After scouring for about an hour. They were pretty large but still wasn't enough of them to do anything to me so I just left them alone.

Been out about 6 times, with no go. sometimes it was pot shots, like going a little after midnight and shit ; but no luck also going at sunrise after rains.

I dont know what fields you may be describing, but I've been living in SW Louisiana for 13 years now, and ever since I've been shrooming, I've never had any problems finding shrooms.
Infact, I know of 4 different fields right now that has enough shrooms for every member of this community. Every time I go, I bring an extra bag, and still end up running out of room to put shrooms. My next hunt, which will be soon, I'll have to bring 4 bags, and I can guarantee all bags will be full.
Check out my Gulf Coast find thread, just last week we pulled in 15 lbs, from one field, in a matter of about an hour. About a week before that one, I pulled in 4 lbs from that same field, and about two weeks before the 4 lb find, I brought in 3 lbs from that field, in 15 minutes.
And thats not including the 3 other fields that I know for sure are major producers.
SW Louisiana is on fuckin fire right now, just gotta know where to look.

well..
good news
i found the perfect fieldand so far i found about 30 grams
i jus wanted enough for a few friends to trip
the first time..
we only took a few to be safe..
we felt amazing..
but not enough to trip..
so we took another trip to the field
and ate more..
hopefuly i get there this time..
im jus so happy i found some..
