So this is to all the lurkers, whats your philosophy, your reasoining behind being a lurker? Haven't yet registered and are just reading? Afraid to post? Have nothing to contribute? Lets get the lurkers in on this one.
-------------------- "Their is one overriding question that concerns us all: How can we get out of the fatal groove we are in, the one that is leading towards the brink?" Albert Szent-Gyorgyi
"We may not be capable of eradicating the corruption of reason, but we must nevertheless counter it at every instance and with every means." Dan Agin
"Politics is the best religion and politicians are the worst followers."
-It's ok to trip as long as you don't fall.
-Substance over Style.
-Common sense is uncommon.

I mostly lurk, but sometimes post. I usually don't post a lot because it seems there are a lot around here who share the same mindset as I do, and there's no need to repeat what someone else already said if I already agree with it.

If they're lurkers then they are going to post why they're lurking??

“What is the ideal for mental health, then? A lived, compelling illusion that does not lie about life, death, and reality; one honest enough to follow its own commandments: I mean, not to kill, not to take the lives of others to justify itself.”
― Ernest Becker
"Beneath the civilized veneer, man remains the supreme predator. Cursed with what he believes is understanding, his true soul blossoms godlike in the heart of the nuclear inferno."

Hey I answered I demand gratification
--------------------

All this time I've loved you
And never known your face
All this time I've missed you
And searched this human race
Here is true peace
Here my heart knows calm
Safe in your soul
Bathed in your sighs

Is this love that I'm feeling ... or is it hate ... the same?
This emotion's enough to kill the sane.
-------------------- Night is falling. The world’s night is spreading its darkness, by the ‘default of God.’ Not only have the gods and the god fled, but the divine radiance has become extinguished in the world’s history. It has already grown so destitute, it can no longer discern the default of God as a default. Because of this default, there fails to appear for the world the ground that grounds it. The age for which the ground fails to come hangs in the abyss. Assuming that a turn still remains open for this destitute time at all, it can come some day only if the world turns about fundamentally—and that now means, unequivocally. But for this it is necessary that there be those who reach into the abyss. — Martin Heidigger, “What Are Poets For?”
