Is there a way to block search engines from returning Shroomery Forum Pages? It really sketches me out.
or at least make it so the posts are invisible to non-forum members, ala this place; http://www.roguesci.org/theforum/index.php

Paranoid much? Either way, I am 100% sober and I don't like the fact it is wide open either. But the same as with the post deletion policy, once it is posted, it becomes public property. Just be careful with posting habits I guess.

Well a few forums like the Marketplace and Gathering are already off-limits to unregistered members (and search engines). But while it is possible to block search engines from indexing the forums, it's not at all desirable from an administrative standpoint. Anyway it would offer a false sense of security at best. It's not like it would change the reality that anyone can view the BB at any time. Better to stay conscious of this fact and just be careful about what you post.
