Coir + Coffee + Chicken manure results [UPDATED 5/26]

Some of you might have seen my previous thread: I HATE you, Coir and Coffee!!!
Well, did another one, this time with chicken manure, and got even better results. Mind you, this is from the same LC that produced the other tub.
12 quart tub casing was composed of:
2 quarts WBS spawn 1 quart composted chicken manure 1 quart spent coffee grounds 1/3 brick coir
Cased 50/50 (not pH adjusted, just peat/verm.)
First flush yielded 87.1g (3.07oz). Pinset was not as nice, but the fruits were much meatier. Sorry, didn't snap any pics. Might snap a pic of the bag full of the dried stuff later.
EDIT 5/26/07: To update this....
It's STILL flushing. Pic of the tub below is flush number FIVE.

The last image is the total from this single tub (minus the about 1/2 ounce that's in the dehydrator right now.) Total so far is about 6.5 ounces...

Nice flush. That's way more chicken manure than I recommend. I'm surpirsed it didn't burn up..I usually try to keep the chicken manure down to 5% or so. I'm assuming it was well aged? RR

Thank you, Roger. Yeah, we had a discussion in which I'd asked you and Agar about it a few weeks ago - I knew it was on the hot side, but decided to experiment.
The chicken manure is very well aged. There is absolutely no ammonia smell, right out of the bag. There is a bit of moisture content, so I let it dry out for a couple weeks before use.
It's worth mentioning that the tubs that were mentioned in that discussion failed miserably. One made it through spawning without visible contamination, but excreted metabolites more than any bulk tub should. It soaked itself in it, and then I'd water it down and let the metabolites run off - and it would soak itself in metabolites again. Very nasty.
These two (I have another similar tub going that just gave me about an ounce and a half [estimated... still drying] first flush) are looking pretty healthy, comparatively. There's a small infection of what looks to be penicillium on the second casing due to mishandling on my part.
Even better results might be had by further reducing the chicken manure composition... I'll have to experiment further.
The bad news, is that I find it hard to justify growing at the moment. I have way more doses than I need for personal consumption for a very long time. I don't sell and none of my friends enjoy tripping, so.... might be awhile before I experiment beyond the amount of spawn I currently have available, which isn't much.

We all reach that point soon enough. That's when the mycelium junkie in us switches over to edibles and medicinals. It opens up a whole new set of challenges because they're much more difficult to grow than cubes, so the learning curve turns up the heat again. RR

Not a bad idea. I mean, think of the fun you can have with an excess of hallucinogens? You don't even have to take them yourself:
Spike your bird feeder!
I've always wanted to see what would squirrels would do when tripping. I may just be a crazy sadist though.

LOL - yeah, I have actually wanted to experiment with different animals, but wouldn't want to overstep the 'cruelty' line.
Fungi_x, can you tell me where that picture came from? I've been seeking a method of extraction that is actually reliable and doesn't require that I have multiple thousands invested in lab equipment.
