went hunting and took some pics, take a try at ID if u want.






also found some sulpher tufts, and saw some snakes!
ah, spring...

1) Cortinarius spp.
2) Stropharia ambigua
3) Leptonia or Nolanea spp.
4) Marasmius copelandii (if it smells like garlic)

Marasmius copelandii smells strongly like garlic, usually it is found after you step on it and notice the smell. Some people collect it to flavor pasta, which works well.

1.) Cortinarius or Agrocybe, hard to tell if the veil is orange or brown.

2.) Maybe Stropharia ambigua, but heh, the photo is too ambiguous to tell for certain.  :wink:

3.)I was thinking more along the lines of Xerula or Oudemansiella.

4.)I don't think that is a Marasmius, more like Gerronema, Omphalina, or Xeromphalina.
