Michigan has farms - They've got DNP Diversified natural Products, which is growing 3,000lbs. of morels a week, I believe. Gary Mills pet project for over 25 years, just got it working about two years ago...

They're actually into all kinds of really innovative ideas, they have a petroleum replacement they're working on too. I actually asked them if they are a traded company so I could buy stocks, but no dice - privately owned...

Also here -
Green Acres (Shiitake Mushroom) Farm 6010 Marshall Road Dexter, Michigan 48130 (313)663-4968

here -
FreshBread Mushroom Farm is located at 4652 Randolph Hwy., Adrian, Michigan, 49221.

Anyway, there's more out there, but I'm at work and shouldn't be here anyway, so I'm gonna run!
Light and Love,
JD

You know, I'm not sure, I just Googled Michigan "mushroom farm" and posted what I found for you.

If you're looking for a job at a mushroom farm with no education or work history, you may be disappointed with the positions available, mostly labor stuff. Try to find a specialty mushroom farm as opposed to a button mushroom farm, as you may be able to move up quicker. Also, how's your spanish?
Best of luck!
JD

yeah, i really dont care if it is a labor job, any job will do i just think it would be cool working at a mushroom farm, and as far as my spanish, not wonderful but i got around costa rica ok, with very little frustration.
