Seeing as how I'm sober about 95% of the time, "druggie" would not be an accurate description of me. I'd say, if anything, I'm a part-time hippy.

I've done almost all illicit drugs at least once, but I don't consider myself a "druggie"... why? Because the term "druggie" to me means someone that is hooked, or must get high on something as often as possible. Others may disagree with that, and that's OK.
I've proven to myself time and again that I can quit without assistance for long periods (years)... so for me, drugs continue to be recreational or spiritual... but are absolutely not required. Therefore, I'm not what I would call a "druggie".

I actually consider myself a bit of a 'head.' Druggies get stoned, heads engage in vision quests, self examination and the search for greater enlightenment.

most people i know call me a druggie (because they are all straight). but i resent all of that crap. I'm not a druggie, i just like drugs.
drugs: weed, hash, cocaine, shrooms, opiates, salvia.

I can only consider all life to be druggies.
Animals get wasted too!
Most people have consumed a drug before, be that a cup of tea or a bar of chocolate, they still contain substances which are drugs.
But then any type of food can (or does?) have an effect upon the functioning of your brain its just that things that strongly affect the brain are considered to be drugs.
