I'm curious why these don't fall under the 'No house-hold highs rule'? These kids are taking unknown, potentially lethal doses of morphine that they're getting from grocery store spice aisles. It angers me, and I don't understand why we let the discussion of it continue in the ODD forum, or the Garden for that matter because the issue keeps coming up and it only leads to more people doing it, thus continuing this dangerous practice.

Who knows, I guess it would be kinda weird though if Poppy Pods were ok to discuss but not the seeds. And its really hard to get a lethal dose from seeds, but I see what you mean. Seeds are worthless pretty much to anyone who is regularly using opiates.

who knows, who cares... last thing we need is one more lame reason to lock more and more threads...
besides, the same could be said for morning glories/hbwr etc..

True.
From what I've read, there are dangerous chemicals in or on the seeds that you don't get with the pods (or, the pods are potent enough that the amounts are minimal, compared to the pound of seeds you need). So, perhaps it's best that people be allowed to discuss it anyway, for safety purposes.

at first i didnt agree with you at all.. but now looking at ODD and Ethnogarden.. it is a little out of hand... kinda like morning glory seed threads were for awhile..
there is a new member with like 7 posts or something asking about opium seeds in ethno..
idk what really can be done.. but maybe upping the forum requirements would help?

The recent one in the Garden isn't asking for dosage advice. I don't have any problem with people buying seeds that they intend on growing, heck I encourage it  No problems with pod discussion either, last time I checked they weren't available at every grocery store on the planet. I just think it makes us look bad to be associated with this type of behaviour.
