The thing you must remember is that the "masses" are not EVERYONE. There are still good girls out there who aren't whoring it up. Although a ton of people are susceptible to this nonsense (as I once unfortunately allowed myself to try to become), there are still a lot of people out there who are not falling into line, as to say. Just remember that when you have a daughter, be honest with them and don't allow them to become what you appear to despise so much. Maybe we can start a reverse trend. I doubt it, but whatever, one can only hope.

When my life leads me to kids I will be a pure setting well my kids will learn the wonders of nature, the path to true spiritual enlightenment, music, and love (which all mtv kids these days lack). Kids hate and make fun. I want no child filled with money, power, greed, and obsession,

If this is how you feel, then we must chill when you have kids. My son has done more in his 2.5 years than most 10 year olds have done. He loves to camp, hike, backpack (yes, he goes backpacking!!!), canoe, listen/watch music. For his 3rd birthday I am buying him a little drumset. I figure, why not get him started early. Someone to jam with...When he watches someone play the guitar, such as G3, he likes to mimic their finger positions. I refuse to buy my son any video game system. I refuse to buy my son any of the garbage that absolutely destroys the imagination. I want my son to live as free a life as he possibly can.

i would desire my wife to be as real as real can be. not some image of pop-culture which is all dressed up and ornamented with unrealistic expectations of personality.
i want my beloved to be as true as true can get, to be individual, independent, and intellectual, as i am sure you do as well
Wow that is right on. I don't think i could of said it better myself. This is exactly how i feel. I wish that most females looking for a real relationship would realize this.
Maybe they do. Maybe all those girls are most likely to be found other places then MySpace. Like the real world.
I didn't say they don't exist on MySpace, i am mearly stating my opinion. I would not expect to meet a loyal future wife on MySpace. Once again opinion.

I respect what you say and do. I hope to do the very same with my kids.

hence i stated that we can only speak in generalizations.
it's impossible to speak for everybody in this matter.
a reverse trend is what's up.
we need to follow our hearts, not our heads.
especially in this day and age.

it's so unfortunate that in this day an age something so great cannot be accepted.
i was immediatly changed forever when I ate some LSD for the first time. I lost all those negative qualities of money, status, and ego. I then learned that never in the rest of my life I wanted fall to these evil temptations.

My god please don't advocate video games. I thank you for that. video games are educational to a point. Before i joined the shroomery i was obsessed with a stupid video game. I have mentioned before that i have an addictive personality. I spent 3 months playing some stupid internet game, when i could of been expanding my mind on the shroomery, asking questions and getting answers.
I have been told that video games produce a chemical in our brains that is the same chemical produced when we are addicted to drugs. I can see the similarities. The anticipation, the act of indulging, and then the pay off. It is all similar.
IMO i just wasted 3 precious months of my time. I regret that, and plan to spend more of my time making money to support my own personal experiments. So new knowledge can be acquired first hand.

i see where you're coming from. psychedelics totally changed my life and allowed me to see myself for who i really am.
i personally believe, more and more each day, that the way of the heart is actually being accepted, individually, but not yet communally.
because there is still a status quo, and thus an underlying fear of openly displaying the values of cooperation, love, and compassion.
it's still a competitive world out there acting out on stage after all.
a reverse change in human values has not yet reached the critical mass of being accepted into collective consciousness.
i deeply trust that the archaic revival will eventually come and break through this overdue facade of male-dominance.
all my opinion of course, if this was MP&P i'd would go all out of course.

For me it was some TC27(I think that's what it was called) and a long night with the grateful dead that changed me forever. I had been questioning and "rewriting" my world view for a number of years before this, but this was the night that flipped the switch for me. It was an awesome, life changing experience. I hope more people get to share this feeling that we both got to enjoy.

I get a headache now when I try to play video games (except for the classics like SMB!!!). I can't even deal with it. It just isn't interesting. I have a friend who will not leave his house when he gets a new game. In fact, I won't even see him (unless I go over there...snooze) until he has beaten the game. I'd rather waste my time on here (not that this is at all a waste of time) than sit and try to play a game. I can't even stand talking on the phone anymore. It just annoys the shit out of me. And the worst part is, sometimes you can't get the point across to the other person while they are just yapping away. It's just like SHUT UP. If you want to talk this much, then just come over and talk. I have other shit I'd rather be doing than sitting here with this phone stuck to my ear.
That reminds me. The more ridiculous part about myspace...While some of these people are on there, they are also on AIM, YAHOO, whatever else, and the phone all at the same time. Why not just say, "Hey, why don't we all just get together and hang out in person?" What a waste of time.

I like video games when there is nothing good going on outside or elsewhere. And even then I will only play 30min-1hr.
