 What's the worst job you've ever had?

I've had some shitty fucking jobs myself, like at the 'maple leaf pork plant' kill floor, I quit the day I was knee deep in coagulated pig blood squeegeing it into a drain, and got kicked in the face by a dead pig **shudders** it left a huge bruise/cut/welt on my face... Heh heh, one day after work I was doing some shopping, and I noticed people were staring at me with looks of horror, pulling their kids away from me etc... I'm used to people staring as I have a tall blue mohawk, and studded leather jacket, but this was getting ridiculous. I happened to walk by a window and saw my reflection, I forgot to wash the blood off my face/hands! I must of looked like I just killed someone!
But the worst job I've ever had without a doubt was the 'Hide plant'. This was the most disgusting, smelly, painful, worst paying, repetitve, unfulfilling, joint smashing job I will ever have... Imagine working with thousands of 50-600 pound, rotten cow/bull hides that have been in the back of a semi trailer for 5-6 days in the hot sun  , they would come out of the 'shit pit' on hooks attached to a chain, then drop onto the production table where we would have to fold them and stack them... A lot harder then I made it sound, not to mention much sicker. To top it off, the boss was an illiterate drunk, who treated his employees like shit, and paid them fuck all (I was at $10 canadian per hour when I finaly quit) At one point, a guy got stabbed in the back twice with a very dirty knife for no reason at all
(he almost died) when the cops left and all that shit, our boss says "back to work boys, anyone who leaves is fired!" we all laughed at him and left anyway, nobody got fired.

I was a bus boy over the Summer. That sounds nowhere near as bad as what has been described in this thread.

I don't know if it counts, since I only did it for one day, but I once took a job selling meat out of the back of a truck. They paired me with the most annoying old ghetto black guy I've ever met. As he drove us from one trailer park to another, he constantly kept talking about his sexual exploits involving 60-year-old women. This guy wouldn't shut up for one second, and everything he had to say was either stupid or disgusting. Even if they handn't paired with such an annoying guy, I still would've hated driving around all day selling frozen meat to white trash.

i have done no more degrading/demoralizing job than with investory. I worked at Fry's Electronics for a few months. Some people out west should know if it. I had to inventory the computer department. I think the detail would compare to yours. It was fucking miserable. I was baked out of my mind the whole time just to stay sane.

How did that guy get stabbed twice with a dirty knife? Did somebody do it to him?
I hated doing customer service on the phone for an insurance company and stocking shelves sucked pretty bad too, like when you're trying to put a huge bag of flour on a top shelf and it falls and smacks you on the head and explodes all over the isle. It was really hard to sweep up too and I didn't tell the supervisor it happened so he wondered why it took me so long to stock that isle. Ya... I found out today I'm fired now.
Definitely nothing to complain about though at least I was sweeping flour and not dead pigs that still kick me in the head.
