 philosopical unfolding on a voyage

for this topic i was wondering if anyone has ever experienced what I guess i could term "philosophical unfolding" during a voyage? what i mean is have you ever "came into" a sort of philosophical view or system that you have maintained into your "grounded" life? But i don''t just mean mystical experiences. I mean, has a set of philosophical ideas or principles ever materialized and you wrote it down or whatever, but you have taken it on as a world view?

Last time I shroomed, during the come down, I started thinking about how life is like a river and there are things obstructing the flow... Like responsibilities stop you from doing what you want to do.
I dunno, when i was thinkin it, it felt all philosophical and crazy =P heh

while it took me some time to grasp... i have gained what i would consider to be a greater understanding of the world and the people within it. shrooms have helped me to hold the position that people are all very different and have their own right to be however they wish, and should be accepted by all. i've also come to the realization through my trips, friends, and even these boards, that there are a myriad of things that i will never be able to control in this life, and i really shouldn't worry myself in regards to these uncontrollable aspects of existance.
mushrooms have helped me to gain a very accepting and tolerant attitude, while at the same time just throwin' up more questions that beg for answers

It happens most times I trip. And toke for that matter. Most recent example: this thread in spirituality and philosophy...thoughts on the nature of things.
