I am curious if there is a leality issue with shipping a live grain master of Shittake to me? (Canada)
If there isn't, is there anyone here willing to ship me a live culture of Shittake. I will cover the shipping

$18 is a good price for a shiitake. I paid $125 for my culture, so that's why you don't find too many people lining up to give them away or sell cheap. Make your own slant for long term storage as soon as you get some growing.
