From GREAT to GREEN - Moldy Contam Question w/ Clear Pics

Hey folks.. its been a while since I've posted but my friend sent me some pics and has some questions for the experts here. There is currently some major green mold growing in a casing of his, and he is wondering about the danger it may pose for past/future pickings. His paramount priority is the safety of those that come into contact with these.. nobody wants to get ill! Here's the situation:
0hrs. Everything is going well, top two cakes are harvested. Friend may have neglected to re-cover the exposed mycelium from these cakes.
+3 days. (NO PICS) Second harvest of the next few cakes that are ready. Friend reports no major signs of mold at that time. Specimens are all visibly healthy/contam free.

+6 days. Another round of cakes are harvested, resulting in the scenes pictured above. Contam obviously very present at this time in about 3 spots, although again the picked mushies appear to be kosher and their respective areas were not moldy.
So.. I'm assuming that I should advise my friend to trash the entire box immediately, with the last 2 stunted cakes being a lost cause. However, the question arises about the safety of the harvests at 3 days & 6 days each as mentioned above. Thanks to everyone who comments!

i'd say it could be blueing from damage where it was picked... one way to check though... use a dampened qtip and swab the colored area... if color bleeds to the qtip toss them... if it doesn't bleed, keep them going they'll fruit again...

That's definately NOT blueing and is definately green mold. Don't worry, you won't become ill, maybe allergic if you're sensitive to airborne allergies. You can still harvest those fruits, they're perfectly fine. But the problem is that it will contaminate your house/area that will hinder all future endeavors.
Take it outside away from the house, and pick the fruits. If it's warm enough outside, you can probably continue to fruit it outside. If it's cold, just dispose of it when you're done.
Then wash your clothes and take a shower IMMEDIATELY.

Man I hope that it's not a trich bitch situation for that beauty... So how did the test go? You could always bury the substrate outside and water it if it's warm enough/live in an area where the grounds not frozend *cough*not here in VT*cough*... -Hightimesreader

Thanks for the suggestions so far! My friend has yet to do the qtip test, although I'm pretty sure its mold as zathan suggests. Any ideas on how to safely remove the mold and prevent future contamination, other than the obvious like ventilating the area and bleaching the container afterwards?

Test ph of casing material so it's not too acidic, and to keep it above ground.
Just seal up the tub as best you can and move it outside. Don't let air brush over the mold, that will cause mold spores to be released and freely float wherever.

It's definitely trichoderma. Pick the mushrooms and trash the rest of the tray as said. There won't be anything wrong with the fruits. Trichoderma is not toxic to healthy humans and is even considered a beneficial organism by organic vegetable gardeners. RR
