is the java chat client broken again?

i have tried to sign in there a few times, and havent been able to, just a X i n the opper left ccorner of the java window...

When did you notice this? I just within the last 10 minutes recompiled chat so it should work with more versions of the JVM.

i noticed it about a week ago, and then tried it again about 10 minutes ago.....

it might be somthing wrong with the java app on this computer... ill try again

Could you please open the 'Sun Java Console' from the IE tools menu, try to access chat, and paste any output that you get? Thanks!

Okay thanks guys, I'll try to track down an older version of the JDK and compile with that. I guess the -target 1.1 flag didn't work. :frown:

Alright it should be fixed for people with older versions of the JVM. Please let me know if anyone still has problems!
