 French Had Bin Laden in Their Sights …Twice

A new documentary just released claims that French Special Forces had Osama bin Laden in their sights on more than one occasion in the last 3 years; however their US superiors never ordered them to fire.
A French soldier in the documentary says "In 2003 and 2004 we had bin Laden in our sights. The sniper said 'I have bin Laden,'". The French military authorities are denying the incidents took place and deemed the report to be "erroneous information".
Last September, George Bush, the US president, dismissed reports that his administration had become distracted from its effort to track down Bin Laden as an "urban myth" .
