 High dose 4-ho-dipt

Dose: 100mg 4-HO-DiPT
Warning: This is not reccomended for anyone, know what you are doing!
Onset in 1 hour, peak at roughly 3 hours.
There was some mild body load, not that much stomach discomfort but there was some difficulty with this ear feeling. I don't know how to describe it, but perhaps I could explain it as a feeling you get sometimes when things are too bright or you hear a loud sound. I kept getting it in my left ear, almost continuously. This was a difficult point in the trip, where I figured out I took too much (duh).
I wouldn't repeat this dose again.
After the ear thing subsided some, the trip was more comfortable. Major body high, some mind trip hinting at a dreamy state and reminiscent of seemingly primitive concepts and words.
Visuals, quite complex and too apparent. Open eyes, things were hard to see. Waviness, swirling, things getting choppy at times, making me question reality and what the hell is going on.
Closed eye visuals, again complex, colored, not much unlike 4-ho-det. Bright shimmering light shining through the colored patterns, revealing bright solid colors. Wow, quite pleasing to the eye, tripping retinas.
The trip was very long-lived, having taken the dose around 12am, hitting peak at around 3 or 4, and still tripping around 8am. I took a seroquel at this point, to attempt to enter a sleeping state. It quelled the visuals some, but not a significant amount. I drove to get smokes, driving was a very careful thing to do, seeming much more out of proportion or delayed. Would not do again, even though I went about a mile to the store.
Earlier on in the night, for about 4 hours myself and two friends shot pool and listened to Bill Hicks, and laughed our asses off. I thought my abs were going to hurt quite a bit today. Nope, I'm in shape.
Conclusions: Very vivid OEVs, CEVs, some mind trip. Would not reccomend this dose.

Had you done lower doses of 4-HO-DIPT before? What made you decide to go with 100mg???

I have dosed numerous times at 20mg, with slight effect.
One time I dosed 60mg 4-AcO-DiPT, with slight visuals and major leg tremors, as well as major facial muscle tension (perma-grin).
On new year's eve eve, I dosed DET, so I expected some tolerance. I dosed 60mg this time, but after an hour and a half, dosed another 40 due to barely noticeable effects.
Those effects definately picked up after a few hours.

sounds like an ok trip to me...me personally, i look for intense visuals, especially the OEV's...those are my personal favorite...the dose itself didnt seem like the problem....it seemed to me, the experience of the tripper seemed to be why the dose seemed like too much.....thats just my thoughts...never actually done this drug....dont know where to find it...well...good report

Holy shit, that is a huge dose! But you seem to be fine. That kind of dose is risky though with a substance about which so little is known...
I just got my hands on some 4-ho-dipt as well. I tried 16 mg for the first time, which was not very strong but nice. Today I tried 20 mg (10 days since the first one) because people say this stuff has a steep dose/response curve. This produced a somewhat stronger experience but I would still like a higher dose.
The experience has a feeling that reminds me of shrooms, which is probably no surprise considering the chemical resemblance to psilocin/psilocybin. But it was more clearheaded and produced a more comfortable emotional state. It also is more oriented to your body. It felt very good to dance to some excellent psytrance I had on hand, a compilation called Liquid Logic (very trippy, really top notch). The music was enhanced very nicely, but I hardly had any visuals. Overall I had a very positive experience that felt healing and was very easy to handle.
I'm looking forward to trying a bit higher dose (maybe 24 mg), this could be a nice addition to my list of psychedelic allies.

I believe you are getting serious misinformation about the potency or weight of your stuff. 20mg is considered a powerful dose of 4-HO-DIPT, where 30mg would be mind blowing, if not dangerous. 100mg just seems like a very dangerous overdose that might lead to ceasure of respiration etc. You are probably dealing with cut street drugs.

Wow, I couldn't even imagine 100mg's of 4-ho-dipt. I've had 2 excellent trips with this compound at 26mg's.
I can't wait for my next trip, I just got 200mg's.
