last month i got back from studying in australia for 6 months. thinking about doing it again for my final semester of school in the fall of '08. starting to think about where i want to go. you guys have any suggestions? i'm leaning a little bit towards some place in asia, but i really don't know much about the difference between most of the countries in asia. i feel like it would be good getting an experience of eastern culture. i have been gaining some interest in buddhism. other options might be europe, another part of australia, or south america (if it's offered).
very open to any suggestions or opinions that you guys might have.

I can't think of a more fitting place than Asia for studying a broad, or a whole lotta woman for that matter.

My advice would be to avoid Japan and Korea and aim for Thailand or so. And with china it can go either way, Ive heard mixed things about China....
Personally Id go to Thailand.

the opposite, hardest semester i've had in college. school is taken much more seriously, probably everywhere aside from america. or maybe i just dont go to a very good school, i dunno.
one of my friends did thailand last semester. i'm gonna talk to him about it when i get back to school next semester. i don't know about japan, it seems too commercialized.

Hmmm, that sounds cool dude. Either Asia or South America would be cool, but you gotta watch where you go in SA...some parts are really hardcore.

most schools give you the option to study abroad. there should be a study abroad office in your school you can go to to get information. you gotta look for it though because the way it is in my school i'm sure people could go to school all 4 years having not even known that it existed. ask the administration.
the thing i was thinking about south america was that it might be a better place to go visit sometime rather than taking classes there. i'd love to spend some time in the rainforest. i'm not sure what countries in south america are offered for school, i'm sure brazil is but that might be about it.
