A large quantity of OCT Acetaminophen is being recalled since it has been found to contain metal fragments. Some in the form of small pieces of wire to very small microdot-sized fragments. I have some generic and am wondering if it is affected. The news wasn't clear on exactly what brands are affected. It says it could cause lascerations and irritations from the mouth on down.

i have a few different brands of it actually. it would be interesting to know which are suspect, once that info is out or whatever.

Well if it causes lacerations in the mouth on down, it sounds like it'll be a visible piece of metal, or at least able to feel it on the pill..

Damn, fuck Tylenol. I'm old enough to remember the Tylenol cyanide poisonings in the 80's, so that's some crazy shit.
I'll stick to my illegal and "dangerous" drugs next time I get a headache.

opiates are my remedy for everything.
plain tylenol never even seems to help any sort of pain.
IME it is pretty much useless.

Well the news made it clear that actual Tylenol brand pills are not part of the recall... only those made by a generic manufacturer.
