To lock my car you have to lock it from the outside. If you lock it and shut the door it automatically unlocks itself.
It's nice.

You should get one of those small plastic boxes with a magnet on the bottom to put your key into and then place it somewhere on the bottom of the car where you can get to it if you lock yourself out.

they're starting to put fingerprint ID technology on some of the newer cars. Dont even have to enter in a key, just scan your finger, and boom instant access.

Brainsafe-72
Brain fingerprinting for car security.
The product "Brainsafe-72" helps you secure & start your car with the help of technology called Brain fingerprinting.
"Brain Fingerprinting" is an ability to gather the contents of someone's brain for identification.
Brainsafe-72 reads a person's involuntary response to a memory.
Working Description of Brainsafe-72
Every authorized person is made to witness unique images or pictures uniquely and randomly generated on Brainsafe-72 screen when registering the person on the system for the first time.
Thus this person is now termed as enrolled person.
Brainsafe-72 has a capacity to store 12 Memory templates for each person.
Authorized number of people who can drive the vehicle is 6.
Brainsafe-72 seeks to determine whether the subject (car owner or authorized person) being tested recognizes certain items which may be images of physical items, pictures, or terminology (displayed on Car LCD screen which is a part of Brainsafe-72 equipment).
An image or word the person recognizes presents a distinct brainwave pattern when compared with an unrecognized image or word. The person cannot consciously control this response.
If the subject being tested recognizes enough specific items, he or she is identified and can now drive the car.It takes less than 2 seconds for Brainsafe-72 to verify & grant access to authorized person.
If the subject does not recognize or an alien (unauthorized person) attempts to start the vehicle then the system runs in alert mode. Brainsafe-72 EMG Amplifier Specifications
Electrodes: Integral dry reusable Gain: 1000 Bandwidth: 20 Hz - 450 Hz Noise: < 5 µV Input Impedance: > 10,000,000 M Ohms Supply voltage: +4.5 Vdc CMRR @60 Hz (dB): > 96dB (typically 110dB) Cable: Highly flexible grade, length 1.25 m (custom lengths on request) Plug: Direct connection to DataLINK or DataLOG Mass: 12 g (excluding cable and connector) Electrostatic Discharge Circuit protected

bad idea, my fingerprints are ever changing, my brother cant clock in or out where he works because of their biometric time clocks, many people with laptops using them for security are having the same srt of problems
