 Can dried shrooms get mold

I recently bought some liberty caps, i wasn't able to use them this weekend, so i stored them in my drawer, they were in the pocket of my pants for about six hours in a zip lock bag, but anyways, they're starting to turn white and i'm wondering if it could be mold or if this is just natural, they are about 5 days old, and they were drying for about three, i don't know how they were dried, they were picked not grown. The white rubs off on my fingers, it doesn't look like any of the mold i found on this or any other website
I'm really worried

hmmm, doesnt sound good. you should keep them in a brown bag when picking and atleast fan dry them as soon as you return home. otherwise they are likely to rot.

Well they were dried, thats what i don't understand, they were (pretty) dry and fine on saturday, then they all of a sudden started turning white, and yea, it doesn't seem very good, this is my first time

if they were fully dried, which I doubt they were, than they wouldnt have gathered mold unless in a very mold-filled area. what is your definition of dry? if they werent cracker dry than they werent dry enough to store in a zip-loc bag. invest in a $6 tub of crystal cat litter next time and you wont have to worry about it

Those aren't even close to being dry. When dry, the slightest attempt to bend them snaps them in two.

You can put then in a jar with kosher salt on bottom,then put the led on top and it will dry then even more
