Offical Week 8 Picks (!)

Baseballs over, Midterms dont start until next week, work wont be busy for a month. I have time to make picks!
Home teams first, my picks in bold. Read 'em and weep, suckers.
SF @ Chicago - The Bears are busting out the Horrifically Ugly Orange Jerseys. Unfortunately for the 49'ers, thats probably the only time the Bears will look bad against them. Look for Cedric Benson to get a good amount of work, alot of us here in Chi are starting to get sick of waiting for the running game to develop behind Thomas Jones.
Atlanta @ Cincinattica - I should pick Atlanta here, but I think with Henry coming back Cincinatti will put on a show at home. I mean, that offense has to come alive sometime, right? Oh, fuck it. I'm taking Atlanta.
'Zona @ Green Bay - Yes, Green Bay isnt THAT bad. I admit it. They arent THAT bad. Favre is the only thing holding them together though. Its all downhill from here, you ugly green and gold fuckers. 'zona is terrible. The Bears ripped their heart out a few weeks ago, and its still lying lost in the middle of the Arizona desert someplace. They wont find it this week.
Houston @ Tennessee - Vince Young v. David Carr Carr should be our number one signal that something is wrong w/ the NFL passer ratings. How can someone that shitty be the #1 or 2 rated passer in the league. You know how? Because the system sucks. The NFL just threw together a bunch of stats to make something over 100. NFL scouts dont even pay attention to it. They ignore it. Its stupid. Houston wins.
Seattle @ KC - Trent Green v. Hasselbeck. No wait...Damon Huard v. Hasselbeck. No...Now its RANDOMQB v. Seneca Wallace? That degenerated quick. I have to think Seattle is better than KC, even after the recent losses.
Baltimore @ New Orleans - Baltimore really needs this. Billicks job is at stake, and I think he has them fired up. I *still* dont believe in the Saints. Dont ask me why, but I dont. Its unexplainable.
Tampa Bay @ Giants - Funny stat from this one. Ronde Barber, who plays DEFENSE, has twice as many TD's as his brother Tiki. HILARIOUS. I think the Giants take this one though. Eli is the real deal, despite what I may have said earlier in the year. he should be able to deal with this defense, especially in the Meadowlands. But look out for Bruce "The Polish Rifle" Gradowski. He looks like he might be better than Simms, who I didnt like anyway.
Jacksonville @ Philly - Its funny how fast people forget that Philly was really really good w/out TO. Now they get Stallworth back this week, and Jacksonville isnt playing too hot. Plus, leftwich is out, and while I think Garrard is one of the better backups in the league, he's no Byron. Philly should win easily.
Rams @ Chargers - Chargers win this one at home. How is Merriman allowed to play in this game? Is it not established that he's a fucking juiced-up cheater? Who made this decision? This one will probably be close, since Rivers is young and the Rams are stealing the ball like CRAZY. Trust me...Look it up.
Jets @ Browns - I like Romeo Crennel, and I feel bad for him that the Browns are this bad. I really think they could be better, I'm not sure what isnt working for them. The line sucks, I guess. Winslow is a stud though, by far the best TE I've ever seen. The Jets are B-A-D. This one should be easy.
Indianapolis @ Denver - I gotta take Indy. Dont bet against Peyton in the regular season. As long as Denver is starting Jake the Snake, they will find a way to lose the big game. And this is easily the biggest game of the year so far. I cant wait for this one.
Steelers @ DA RAIDAS - How lucky is Pittsburgh to find themselves in Oakland when they really really really need a win? Could they have planned it better? I hope Ben doesnt play, they dont need to lose him for good. Batch is a GOOD back up. Let him play. They have a better chance to win with Batch at 100% than with Ben at 50%. I think.
Dallas @ Carolina - I would have taken Dallas if Bledsoe was still starting. I really dont think benching him in favor of Romo was a good decision. I like Drew, and I think the Cowboys did too. Starting Romo is going to fuck up the team chemistry, and the Panthers defense will tee off on him. Look for ALOT of rookie mistakes. By the way, Steve Smith NOT being on the SI "Most Overrated Players" list, shows how fucked up every list SI makes is.
New England @ Minnesota - Yeah, way to go Childress. Talk a bunch of shit before the game starts and get the Patriots mad. I fail to see any way this could possibly backfire....Oh wait. The Patriots will slaughter Minnesota, who really arent that good, despite what anyone from that frozen wasteland will tell you.

So you pick Cincinnati? I think you bolded the wrong one.

Can you expand on this pick a little more? I'm wondering why the spread is at 10, seems too high. Everyone must know something I don't.
