Humidity and white mold

I'm wondering is there a certain humidity level that you should keep plants at? Can anyone recommend something to monitor the humidity with?
If you have a plant in a basement closet that tends to be fairly humid is it okay to have a dehumidifyer running inside the closet or would that dry it out too much?
Lastly, I've been told that you can spot treat white mold with straight 3% hydrogen peroxide and a q-tip. Does the peroxide need to be diluted more though if you're using it as a spray? If so how much?

the most important thing is to supply fresh air with a fan all the time. I always have it blowing on the top of the soil. make sure you have air outlet also.

I'm sorry but I'm still a bit of a noob. By "air outlet" you mean like a vent or duct going to the outside of the closet?

Preferably you want about 60% rh. You should get a fan for exhaustand a fan blowing on your plants.

Try and keep it below 65%. Most say 75% is ok but I've seen it at that humidity before.
