There's so many games out there and I'm not sure which ones to get...
When I was younger? Haha, I have a Nintendo, Super Nintendo, and Sega all hooked up in my room in perfect working condition right now! Toe Jam and Earl is a favorite, so are UN squadron, Bubsy, and Chrono Trigger. I really like to watch Out of This World being played, tho I still have not beaten it - I find it quite difficult to figure things out in that game, tho it's easy for my bro. Sonic 1 & 2 are also regulars, prolly beaten Sonic 1 more than anything (well, maybe not Sonic 2), DKC is messed around with every so often, Mickey's World of Illusion has some levels with amazingly beautiful music, and I still need to get Mickey's Magical Quest for the SNES. It's one of the best! Duck Hunt is also played pretty often. A friend of mine find's it impossible to hit one of them, while I find it impossible to miss one of them. Mario 3, of course, is a popular one.
16 bit is by far the crown of consoles.

My Sat Nav struggles running 16 bit games and above but they're getting more powerful all the time. I will upgrade to something better but I'm just waiting for them to get more powerful...
I'm quite happy with what it can do ATM though

Ah man, every time you guys start a classic gaming thread I get swept away with a rush of nostalgia
I was thinking of pulling out the old 'Cube and playing Zelda OOT tonight. I've got a couple big screen TV's so I could eat a pot cookie, sit super close to the telly and play all night.

My favorite NES games were Dragon Warrior, Life Force, and Wizards and Warriors in that order. I still have a working NES as well that still plays beautifully while I have two broken PS2's.

My dad brought home PONG when I was a kid. We were all absolutely amazed at being able to actually interact with the TV instead of just watching it.
When I got a little older I played the shit outta my Atari 2600. Pacman, asteroids, missle command, defender...y'know, all the classics.
