George Michael arrested on marijuana charges

George Michael was arrested on suspicion of marijuana charges after British police found him slumped over the steering wheel of his car.

Authorities were called to North London at 3:22 a.m. Sunday after complaints a car was blocking an intersection of the area. Michael was arrested and later released on bail, according to the Associated Press. He has a November court date.

In February, police warned Michael for possession of marijuana. In April he hit three parked cars saying he was a “terrible driver” and he was trying to get out of a parking spot.

Just a week ago, Michael kicked off his first solo tour in 15 years, which was scheduled to go to 28 European cities.
