Spores101 complaint. (RESOLVED)

I'm in a similar situation. Mind you, patience is a virtue of mine which I explicitly exercise.
I placed an order with Spores101 on 09-01-06. It shipped on 09-05-06. I thought this was a reasonable turnaround time and was pleased. The package shipped USPS Ground from South Carolina. On 09-14-06 I wrote Spores101 inquiring about my shipment, after checking my order status and seeing it was shipped. They laid blame on the USPS and asked me to be patient and wait a little longer.
We continued with correspondence throughout a few days. Finally on 09-18-06 Spores101 decided to resend the package. I requested faster shipping and a tracking number this time. They informed me that they can do a 2 to 3 day Express delivery with a tracking number for $15. I authorized the necessary shipping charge. They notified me it was shipped on 09-19-06. I check my order status and tracking today and it has yet to leave the Canadian post office, it is now 09-21-06 and the estimated delivery date is 9-28-06! That's 9 days. Not "2 to 3 day express delivery."
To sum it all up this was a bad experience for me. I can understand things getting lost in the mail. But making a 2 to 3 day promise and having it take 9 days for an ESTIMATED delivery date, is not acceptable and bad business practice. With my luck thus far in this whole ordeal, it will take more than the 9 days Canada Xpresspost quoted me. The fact that it's been at their office for 2 days already and hasn't shipped is extremely bothersome.
Am I wrong in stating this complaint, or am I impatient? I think I've been waiting long enough. Not to mention being placed under false pretenses of a 2 to 3 day delivery, which is one of the reasons I paid for it.

Being a vendor, I can tell you that the USPS does NOT control shippments well outside of the USA.

In other words, Spores101 mailed it and its now sitting in a post office.
As strange as this may sounds, with the USPS, this is not uncommon. It's horrible and I know its not what you want to hear, but Myco Supply ships to Canada on a daily basis and we have had our fair share of issues with the USPS in regards to CA delivery time.
We've been given many excuses before by the USPS but sadly, that doesn't rectify the situation.

youre not wrong in complaining, but im really surprised that it took that long. my freebie only took like 4-5 days.

Thank you for sharing that Lana. I know it's in the post office's hand now. What irks me is the promise of 2-3 day express delivery and not possibly getting it until the end of this month. It's the end of day 2 now, and it's still there, in their office. That's why I paid an extra $15. For faster shipping and tracking capability. I'm not getting that. Just tracking. I don't like continually tracking it IN the post office, unsent.
In regards to USPS not controlling shipments outside of the US well. It was inside the US. The product originally (first shipment) shipped from South Carolina, bound for my state. This current package is shipping from Canada, through their post office.
Just have to wait now. I'm sure it will get here. Just not in the time I had expected.
Oh well.

I can send you an exact duplicate of your order on top of whats coming from Canada if you can verify your address for me through PM. We are restocked with fresh spores and syringes and would be happy to do it for you.
I have been looking for your package in our mailboxes but nothing yet....USPS is the bane of my existence and if I could afford to I would send all spores via UPS. Hmn....maybe thats not a bad idea.

OK the situation with this is
we send the 2nd package from Canadian stock because it was very fresh and I wanted to send it with a tracking ID to watch the progress , unlike the first package with no tracking and no way to see were it is.
I'm POSITIVE it will arrive much sooner than the canadapost says, also I will refund your extra shipping fee because it isn't going to arrive in the 3 days we promised.
Sorry for the confusion but we are really just trying to get you the package as best we can with the freshest product.
so just email sales@spores101.com with your order ID and we will refund that extra shipping charge you paid.

I've been corresponding with Spores101 thus far, and I must say that they do have great communication. I am impressed by both this, and their intentions to rectify the situation. I've been in contact with whomever responds to the sales@spores101.com -- as well as the SPORES101_COM username.
I appreciate the great communication ladies and/or gents. I have great anticipation that this will end well, as our continued correspondence is helping alot.
I've emailed my order number to the above email address. Thank you very much for taking the offer you made into consideration.

My order arrived yesterday. I am now able to start my first LC and casing grow. Thank you Spores101.
For the inconvenience Spores101 is even going to send me some sterile syringes (which I badly need) and another strain! Way to make up for everything guys. Thank you for re-shipping my order. I'm very pleased and happy to have it in my hands!
