I didn't say anyone was going to hell and what rule was I trying to force on you? Unfortunately freedom comes with those who want to push the limits... which can be good and bad.
On a completely separate note- I wish I could have a slave.... my freaking house is never clean enough and I want someone else to do the work for free...

Having a slave is a bigger responsiblity than cleaning your house, and with it come a lot of hassles. (food/illness/interaction)
Slaves used to get paid a small fee with which they in time could buy their freedom back, so aside from food, clothing, health and housing you'd even have to pay up for that too.
Just clean up one small thing every time you go to the toilet and your house is a temple before this month is out

Freedom of speech is about protecting the most extreme opinions, as soon as you start making any rules about what is allowed or not things suddenly come down to an opinion.
I very much doubt anyone thinks the hollocaust was funny, but even if they did they are still allowed their opinion - (they probably wouldnt make my group of friends however). I think these icons should be allowed in the OTD, and if anyone wants to make a "lollocaust isnt funny, you people make me sick" gremlin I'm sure the mods would allow it to be incorporated.
As a private entity and reflecting their own freedom of speech - the shroomery can make the decision on whether or not they want to have the lolocaust icon. So end of the story is - if the shroomery wants it on their boards or not, everyone can just deal with whatever they decide.
The thing that I find weird is that someone asked to have the lollocaust icon made!
Theres a good episode of Bullshit on freedom of speech -episode 10, season 2 called "Profanity".

I think the holocaust was hilarious. Schindlers List was a riot... I cant wait for the sequel.
Hotel Rwanda just wasn't nearly as funny as Schindlers List... i mean, come on, black people killing black people just gets kind of repetetive.
Hopefully this Darfur situation will have some good actors in the movie. Maybe Morgan freeman can play Kofi Annan.
Im not sure if it makes you guys feel any better to place blame and emotion on inanimate objects like pixelated smileys..... maybe it makes you seem compassionate to get angry at people who choose to laugh and get enjoyment from whatever it may be.
