Hey I just went hunting in the forest here in florida and was wondering if I could get an ID on these shrooms. ALL of these grew on trees except for the ones I think might be honey mushrooms.
here is my favorite one. I found lots of these. They are whitish grey on the top/cap and where the gills of a shroom usually are, there is brown fur.
here it is again. I wanted to get a close up of the fur.
here are some cool shrooms. They look like bright orange. pretty neat.
Here is the shroom I found that I think is honey mushroom not sure tho. These were all over the place growing from the ground. Most were buggy.
here are some white shrooms. are they oyster shrooms? i'm nooby to this stuff

those are not oysters...
the orange ones look like they COULD be extremely young Laetiporous sulphureous (sulphur shelf or chicken of the woods) a choice edible, but its way too hard to tell from your picture and they normally are quite larger (weighing up to 100 lbs), so i wouldn't count on it especially without giving more information about it and getting a proper ID from the pros.
the honey mushroom, i'd say no, but again i'd wait for an expert opinion to be sure. especially if they weren't growing from a tree or stump.

the white background doesn't help i can tell you that much the light reflects off of white....

Take some time and work on getting good focus and lighting for your photos. Check for a macro mode, and try taking the photos from a little farther away to get better focus.
The "Honey Mushroom" you have doesn't look like one to me - the stem is too thin. Also, they only grow from wood.

hunting for edibles isn't nearly as fun as looking for cubes. if i want some edibles i'll go get some portabella shrooms at the super market.

portabellas suck... especially from the supermarket... even morels, shiitake and oysters from the supermarket suck... fresh from the woods or cultivated at home makes a ton of difference in taste... by the time 'fresh mushrooms' get to your store they days old and the taste has begun to suck.
edible hunting is just as fun as hunting for actives.. cubes don't take much to find just a cow or horsefeild or just some cow manure or horse poo even and some luck ...that's no fun, theres no challenge. The fun in cubes comes when its time to ingest them... with edibles its more challenging, more desirable flavors and the smell of the wild vs smell of cow shit.... other actives are more fun to hunt then cubes because they provide a challenge... I would hardly regard picking cubes in a cowfeild as hunting mushrooms...
It took many trips of hunting for my first edibles, now i find them everywhere... jsut takes a little practice and patience... enjoy and love nature and nature will love you back...

To each his own... I disagree totally. Hunting for edibles is fun for me. I find all kinds of species that can't be bought in a grocery store...
Hunting for cubes is totally boring for me. Been there, done that, succeeded... rather hunt edibles any day. Always loved the woodsy environment over a cow pasture in Florida (I have family down there that I visit).
