Does anyone know of a good place in the UK to get mushroom cultures from. Just starting out so would like to get a few types to mess around with. Also interested in finding a beefsteak mushroom (Fistulina hepatica) culture (has anyone tried to grow it before).

When I was in London I saw many types of fresh mushrooms in the supermarkets. Any of these could be cloned and some might be fresh enough to print. This is a good place to start before spending money on cultures. Oysters are the easiest.
I've been working with a wild beefsteak culture but it grows very slowly. I am hoping to find a better one so if you find any I will be up for a trade.

Try contacting Potseeds in Totnes, if they haven't got any they probably know who does.
