An exciting find P weilii (pics)
    #5979238 - 08/19/06 08:18 PM (6 years, 9 months ago)

Hi all.  Well, today I found my first actives in over 10 years.  I am pretty psyched.  These are of course Psilocybe weilii (unless I'm horribly mistaken).  Found them in Bermuda grass in a neighborhood.  Despite their height and large size, they were pretty well hidden.  The bruising is pretty intense.  I know I pulled some mycelium, but I was in a bit of a grab and go situation and I was kind of excited.  They actually smell pretty nice, a little bit sweet even.

Well, that's that.  I might be posting some info in a completely different forum tonite if you catch my meaning, ahem...

Sweet!
I cant figure out - why are there so many weilii finds from such a small area? Seems like half the hunting forum lives in that little weilii distribution square.

Ehehe, just kidding, I'm jealous...

10 yrs eh?  Damn, everyone on here must be old, or it would be that you were hunting actives around 10 or something.

Naaaw man, you should post here while you're tripping.  It's be no doubt, amusing.

Weilii season starts about right now. Expect a shitload more weilii posts provided we get the rain we need.

There were just as many posts about Ps. subs from NZ/AU during their season

Very nice finds xmush. I didn't know you lived in the area.

I was chased by haitians in the main city charlotte amalie when my girlfriend and I got some cocaine for free in a bar and mixed it with alcohol, to form a stronger drug. With such confidence at 2am, we walked the 4-5 or so miles down to the beach where the african slaves lie like lions waiting on tourist prey.

Sometimes the threads just sink... for no reason of the originator,  I think it is either luck or persistence often times.

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat...rue#Post5972777

Wow, yeah... yours surely should have gotten more views than Xmush's!!
Sorry Xmush, but there are boobs in that thread, I think you can understand!

Just bad luck I suppose.

lol, ty cure, I think its just due to my lame ass thread title. But xmush having found his first ever weilii makes me weep with joy none the less. I know he's gonna have a very nice happy moment of what I can only describe as sitting back and appreciating this tangled web of life we've found ourselves in.

What is up with your avatar by the way?

I clicked on that link to one of your Weilii experiences... [cntrl+F key] saw that you mentioned umm, God, and his gifts?

Not gonna make any presumptions but.....

huh? that was my gf's trip report as for god and his gifts? I dont think I ever said those words before. Weilii are just a very spiritual experience, you really have to experience it. I've concluded it cannot be told to anyone what happens, its just a time out of life to observe life in many dimensions.

btw my avatar was made by myself when I had a flashback of a near death experience on 5-meo-dipt (100+mg) while listening to tool and smoking hydro. Amazing how the mind can block out a hard trip only later to be reexperienced, atleast the mind-state uncovered. In my case it pertained to the loop, my own theory on the bhuddist reincarnation cycle, it was extremely horrific.

I see, I thought it was your experience. The god and his gifts thing is in referrence to gf's experience.

I have had plenty more bad trips than good trips, so unfortunately, I can relate to the horror of a bad trip... It can be much worse if you don't believe in anything after death.
It's no fun accepting nothingness.

very very very true. Anyone who hasent had a bad trip hasent truly tripped yet. I do hear alot of people say they can't even fathom having a bad trip because theyre so called so mentally strong and in control etc, they just havent taken psychedelics they can die off. Although I will say shrooms have gotten me pretty close to the same state, they just never made my mind slip, my entire sanity in a way I had to fight knowing id forever break mentally if I didnt. They havent mixed a deadly drug that has killed many (foxy) with the psychedelic experience; do so, and overdose and you're in trouble.

A bad trip starts off good, but then before you know it you're 'slipping', everything you knew blurs together and you just know if you dont fight it you'll never come back. Dejavu kicks in and youve felt like you've fought it before a trillion times, at this point you're living eternity, and all knowledge and I truly mean all knowledge of ever taking a drug is gone.

Even hunter s thompsan says the only ones who know exactly where the edge is, are the ones who have gone over. I feel very lucky to be alive, I know what it means to fight to survive now. Which has been something ive heard from people with near death experiences.

Anyways wtf am I rambling about, lets get back to the weilii.
