Any idea what colour the flowers are? Also how tall/wide?

At this stage I also think it could be a Gymnocalycium.
Nice plant though-

its like, as big round as a nickel and maybe a dimes tall, or shorter. i picked it as-is during a landscaping job, and i saw no blooms. the cactus stretched though, it became like 5 inches long before shooting off like 50 more pups, along with the other 20 little buttons that did it where i found it.

I cant be sure about the species, but I am fairly certain you have some sort of Gymnocalycium sp.

This genus is quite large and plants range from dwarf(1-2 inches across) to stems that can reach 8 inches wide/tall.

Maybe if you could take a close-up of the spines?, that would certainly help with an id.Once it flowers it shouldn't be hard to id-

Hope this helps

this echinopsis species, looks exatly like what i pulled it off of. however there was like 500 buttons all over the damn things, they are out here in 117deg temps, no wonder they got so damn many.

I have one that seems to be the same species yours is. One big button and three or four small buttons around. Flowers are like 2x taller than the cactus itself.

No idea about the species, though.

Well at the moment I think it could be either as well  it is hard to tell sometimes.
Having said that, both of those pictures were worthy plants for the garden

On the nutrients if you're going to use standard plant fertiliser for cacti make sure it is diluted to around half the recommended dosage.
