I've suddenly been wanting to try mescaline really bad. I do live in the southwest, so it should be easy to find right? Well erowid said that its uncommon as a street drug (peyote). So how else would i go about getting this?
Also, erowid has a lack of info about mescaline or peyote, any info anyone else can give me about preparing for a mescaline trip, or is it the same as for LSD or Shrooms?

Use a San Pedro cactus. They're legal and easy to obtain. Remember to go for weight rather than length, it's a common mistake. You want about 1.5 pounds of cactus.

Sounds like a process, but it's very similar to making cannabutter. Can San Pedro be bought at a store? Some garden?

That's so incredible! Have you actually done that? I thought the process to get peyote took years. Is drinking that juice the same as taking mescaline? Wow.

Has anyone here actually done this and had i work??
Me and i few friends took about 6" a piece and boiled it down and drank it but nobody got anything out of it.. But since 12" is one dose i could see why it didnt work for any of us..

There are a few things to remember. First is that san pedro/peruvian torch mescaline alkaloids make up anywhere from .01%-2.375% of the dry weight of the cactus. Also peyote is said to contain many more alkaloids than just mescaline whereas the others this is not the case.

Haha... yes. Did you think it was just a rumor? People have been doing it for thousands of years. That'd be one powerful placebo. :P
Not only is 6 inches not really a dose, 12 can be a very very weak one often times.
