If anyone is thinking about getting it I HIGHLY recommend it! I had it done sat. morning and I went out and partied sat. night with perfect vision--just had to wear some gay eye protectors. God I love it! Free from bullshit glasses, and I now have 20/20+ vision and it is getting better as my eyes heal. They are just a little dry right now. They never hurt at all. The procedure itself was like a crazy ass light show... lol, almost wanna do it again while rolling! I went with Lasikplus! Prolly the best $2500 I will ever spend!

Thanks for that bro Im thinking of getting it done... I just need the money. I usually wear contacts 95% of the time, and the 5% that I wear my glasses I get headaches from them.
Lasik... here I come.

Don't you have to be at least 27 years old or something? Something to do with how your eyes have reached a certain point of development or something. I'd like to get it done as soon as it's worth it, I'd hate to have my eyes just get worse and have wasted the money.

Your eyes do have to stabilize, but there's no particular age limit. I'm 23, and my vision had been stable for a couple years before I finally got it done.

Probably through your history of eye examinations. ie, if your glasses prescription hasn't changed in x number of years.

Well, my prescription hadn't changed in the past two years. Also, they do lots of eye exams to see if you're a good candidate for surgery.

Did you get the "custom" lasik?
I'm going for mine in a couple months. The Dr. where I want to go said I had to wear my glasses for a week ahead of time.

i had it done a few years ago and it was great for awhile, but now my eyesight is horrible again. expect exspensive touch ups from time to time. my uncle had it done and he's already had 3 touch ups. he's pretty old so i think it's not a matter of being a certain age or whatever. you'll just most likely have to have touch up surgery.

My mom had it done just like a month ago and she says the same thing. She loves it! But because she's old she still has to use reading glasses.. lol! So it's kinda more of a pain in the ass for her, but she says that she can see everything else perfectly.
She said the prodecure literally took less than 5 mins. I'm really considering it. I keep hearing excellent things about it and my eyesight hasn't changed in quite a few years.

i have horrible eye sight at a young age. i can't even read the computer screen in front of me without contacts.
my right eye contact is like 4.00 and for the left it's 3.50 - i started out at .75 in the right and .50 in the left.
i'm a god damn blind man.
