Biological engineering...

Is the product of 10,000 years of DNA-less evolution.
Evolution of information, of knowledge; science.
And now it has come to this, where we can directly alter the biological circumstances of our existence.
We've been selectively breeding things for 10,000 years, is this not biological engineering? If wheat was not hybridized at Jericho 9,000+ years ago, would the world be as it is?
How do you feel about biological engineering?

How do you feel about biological engineering?
I think it is the next big leap in our evolution

we would still have rice if wheat didn't occur.
