 Taking drugs on a buss.......

I am taking a out of state trip on a greyhound buss later today. It is my first time traveling on a greyhound. I have a bottle of vicodin and some benzo's that i would really like to take with me. I was wondering if this is a safe decision. How tight is the security?

to avoid any hassle, put them in a seperate bag, w/o your name on it. store it somewhere on the bus - if the coppers search it, worst case you lose your pills (but they can't really link them to you). if they don't, then grab the bag on your way out.

Its usually pretty lax Sometime they have cops search your bags if your brign them on but I think as long as you keep them on you youll be fine.

Yup that's the best trick, also for travelling on trains through Europe. How can they prove the brown paper bag under your seat is yours?

I once stashed weed going from Amsterdam to Paris in the train bathroom...I reached inside the flap where you were supposed to drop trash and placed the baggy next to the trash can sealed inside, not right in the trash.
When we pulled in to Paris...the fucking bathroom door was locked! And no one was in there! i was so p issed.

I've never been searched or even seen security on greyhound before, normally the guy is grumpy, collects my ticket and thats about it.

So are you saying that if i were to get searched, it would be after I got on the buss? Why wouldn't they just check your bags before you got on?
I also would like to get an 8th or so of some kind bud while I'm in the state i will be visiting. I have a friend with a good connect. Do i bring that back the same way? Bag under the seat?
I just want to know if the security is like an airport or like a city buss.... I really have no idea what to expect.

i've never been searched at all ever on any part of my trip ever while on Greyhound.
You give them your ticket, you get on the bus, you get to your destination - you get off.
No searching, no security, no nothing.

yeah, i wouldn't worry to much about bringing a few pills on the bus. I travelled over fifty hours on a greyhound during the summer of 04, and carried some mushrooms, and a large bag of carmel cannabis corn. everything was kosher, and i ate the popcorn with several of my travelling companions on the way.

i have a few gangster homies that used to traffic pounds via greyhound. im pretty sure they never got searched once.

Greyhound IS the least looked at when talking about smuggling. If you're going across borders, I wouldn't do it. But if you're staying in the country, it's golden.
But, Greyhound sucks! I think I would rather hitchhike than to have to ride greyhound for more than 8 hours. Those seats are impossible to sleep in. They recline just enough to piss you off, IMO. And BIG booty Judy thats coming on at the next stop has that seat next to you reserved.
Mind you, she's getting half of your seat too!!

if you go thru albequerque, el paso, you will prob get searched. metal detector and look thru bag, but no pat down. those r the only places ive been searched on greyhound. new york, atlanta, SF, LA, st louis, new orleans, never got searched. doesnt seem to be the size of the city...
