 porn and drugs on myspace?

I always see newstories about kids posting porn and selling drugs on myspace. Why do they have to go and make shit up based on one or two incidents? I talked to my mom earlier and she blocked it since my little brother goes on it, because she saw one of these dumb news stories. As far as I can tell, the place is harmless.

Your mom is stuck inside a protective shell of not knowing any better than to listen to the news.
It is against the myspace rules to post porn or drug-related images. Doing so violates the TOS and users are removed from myspace if found to be doing so. Inform the woman of that and remind her that the news says what it thinks will get ratings, not what it knows is true.
