 Thinking about trying to get medicinal marijuana

A few years ago I ruptured 2 disks in my back, and had them removed and they fused my spine. I just moved to California, and it is my understanding that you can receive marijuana for chronic pain (I hurt every night quite a bit, and usually feel better in the morning, only to suffer again at night). Anyone here have any recommendations, or experiences with medicinal marijuana?

I dont like seeing people abusing the system.
It's pot, like any other but maybe a little better.
If you can get that then no need, unless your really in need and then you should be seeing a doctor and then see if it's for you.

I'm currently prescribed percocet and cyclobenzoprine, as I have difficulty walking if I don't them. However, they also turn me into a zombie, unlike pot, so I don't feel like I would be abusing the system.

naw it was not a personal attack, I just hear "how can I...".And it's nearly always some punk looking to get high.
But yeah man medical pot can and does help

I've heard of people abusing the system, and I partly wanted to make sure I wouldn't be one of them. I obviously don't have aids or cancer, but I do suffer from crippling pain on a daily basis, however when I smoke pot, I feel great. I think it must have some muscle relaxing effects, because I can stand up straight at night when I smoke it, instead of being hunched over in pain. Back problems suck ass.

Everything you need to know is right here. With your back you can get a licence very easily. Who knows if your at the right club you can give it a shot.

Medical license's are pretty easy to get. I got mine for insomnia. cost me $180 for office visit. Not much of a price to pay to smoke "legally".
And then you can buy wholesale!

How easy is it to get it for insomnia? I have insomnia and am also tall and have a lot of back/neck pain.

If it helps your back and thus lets you stand up straight, then that is enough to get you a card. Pretty much any back problem is enough to get you a card.
