Hey there -
I am very interested right now as to what people personally feel depressed about.
Like is there a series of thoughts that you have found yourself re-experiencing that make you feel down in some way?
Not meaning to bring forth any bad feelings or vibes not at all my intention -
I would like to hear some specific situations as to why you are feeling bad sometimes. I don't care what it is, if its what you feel is causing certain episodes of depression, let it out!
Dont feel like you have to be impulsive either - write in a journal if you want, then analyze it, and post what thoughts you feel are significant. This is a pretty anonymous forum, but if you would like say something and not be super public you can pm me, I promise full confidentiality.
If you can please try and keep your description to like under 8 paragraphs =) - I will read every one that is readable =)

no this is for my own interest - I am planning on posting why I sometimes feel depressed, soon. 
am studying as a psych major - but other than the knowledge ive gained from the courses I see no future as a psychologist.

Don't feel obligated to write if you dont feel you can adhere to such a request - 
I would like to understand some straight forward reasons without a 15 page story - I dont care about punctuation
in fact write a 15 page story if you want - I am just saying I probably wont read it if you do... I will read those that are readable

Listen man, I graduated with a B.S. in psychology, and I know how little one really knows about counselling with that degree, let alone w/o it. Please don't go around trying to "help people" when you have no clue what you're doing. If anything, being a psych major should tell you that messing with people's heads can do more damage than good when you don't know what you're doing.
Offering advice is one thing, but trying to psychoanalyze someone when you're inexprienced is completely different, leave it up to the professionals.

nono...I'm not saying you shouldn't offer your ear for people, i think it's great that you want to help, I'm just saying, don't go so far as to say you're studying psych and possibly lead people to believe you're a professional in the field. You know what I mean?

...Sometimes I do a subjective little "show" in my head with nature shots (nature fading) and sad complimenting music in the background... the whole theme is everything is just declining... slowly ceasing to be.
And I consider myself within the realm of things, and the whole situation just seems kind of silly and pointless.
Makes me kinda sad.

I think I've gravely hurt two people I love... and I'm not so sure it was for a good reason (though I did at the time). And now I feel sick about it. But the situation is so messed up and confusing I don't even know how sick I should feel.

a) not having a job.
b) thinking about money and responsibilities so much that I can't bring myself to write a goddamn thing.
