nice, 1 thing i hate most about that game are sore losers or fags who talk shit, i just call them unsocialistic 14 year-old losers who are neglected by their peers, and it shuts them up

On one hand Wii is a good move. It is going to get crazy press on the name alone and that's bad for Microsoft right now.

I actually applaud nintendo on their bold move to totally reinvent the controller. It looks to me like you could be sitting/laying in just about any position and still use the controller. Looks very "laidback" to me. More "freedom" of arm/hand movement. If you've ever had drunken Star Wars: Battlefront II matches, you'll know how nice it would be to have buttons in one hand and joystick in the other.
Shit, when is it going to get to the point that our computers/consoles are limited in their processing speed by the speed of the human manual input...

Damn nintendo dun fell off hard...
64 was a pretty good console, for any of you 64 haters I dont know what you're talking about. Golden eye was fuckin amazing, and all the gay kiddy multiplayer games are fun too.
Game cube was retarded growth in utero for sure tho they fuckin blew it there...
And this new shit looks so gay too, but definately better than Game cube... goddamn game cube was bad...

Here are some Nintendo wii's in-game screenshots of the launch title "red steel",
Nintendo is specifically making the Nintendo wii for all around players. Not just for kids, and if you are judging the system by how the controller looks, go buy a ps3. The graphics are suppose to be really good looking!
Nintendos goal is for users to to have a new innovated experience, and mainly enough, for players to have fun!

I think the new Nintendo will be pretty cool. Especially if it retails for a nice low price and not $500 plus 60 for a damn game. No telling what the ps3 is going to cost. The graphics look fine to me, I dont really care for how game developers seem to go crazy with bumpmapping in most of the current games, a little is ok, but overdoing just ... i dunno i dont care for it.
In any case I wouldnt be suprised if Nintendo also offered a 'regular' controller more akin to ps3/xbox/GC controllers.
Besides, Nintendo was the one of the 3 that made the most profit from the previous systems seeing as how they made money from the sales of their systems unlike ms/sony. I saw a graph that showed the sales of each console (xbox, ps2, gc) in detail but i'm too lazy to look for it.

Are they still going to put the games on mini-discs? For some reason I hated those. But I would buy this system just to beable to download all the classic games that are hard to get ahold of for the older systems.

No, I think Nintendo is realizing that good, interesting, quality game play > higher poly counts and amazing graphics.
The Wii (they should of stuck with Revolution IMO) sounds pretty good IMO. The PS3 and the XBOX360 are expensive as hell, and alot of the games are just pushing the same ol' same ol' - just upping the graphics behind them.
Gameplay > Graphics
