poppy seed planting

i just bought some turkish giants seeds from a sponsor and was wondering if it would be good to soak the seeds in water before sowing? does anyone do this? or do you just sow them in moist soil?

Soak them in water for 24-48 hours first and then plant them

A friend of a friend didn't soak them and they came out fine. Soaking them wouldn't hurt just watch out that you don't soak long enough for the primary root to come out.
