I was thinking, if every illegal is protesting on monday, why shouldnt every citizen protest for drug reform laws?

We could have a day in which everyone that smoked or tries psychedelics to not work and smoke and trip altogether publicly! (not like 420 which is sad is just really a disgrace in my opinion)I mean shit my happen but theres more people than politicians and it will shake things up and if everyone continues this 'protesting' trend, then the government would begin to fear the people and not the other way around. Its a battle of whos more stubborn to do what really.

this really isn't a half bad idea. but, it'll only work if the pot users acually participate. Its not gonna do shit if the only pot smokers who dont show up to work are the teenagers workin at mellow mushroom. the illegals have like 11 million people, i would venture to say that we have maybe 7-10 million.

I know its more than that. Were everywhere but because of government laws, scared to come out.

And its not just about pot... Im talking about the whole she-bang! Mushrooms, cactus, salvia which slowly but surely is becoming illegal too, ALL sorts of ethnos!

Putting them all together, and Im pretty sure the consumers become a whole army of millions

What would be better is one day a year where everyone who used drugs took a day off work, school or college - but claimed to be genuinely ill. It would mean that each individual would be free from persecution (hey, everyone gets sick sometime, and it could just be a coincidence), but the collective action would definitely be noticed. Those who felt secure enough with their position to not fear intimidation for their choices could choose to speak out about why they were protesting, and other people could simply safely contribute to a national movement.

News programs might carry the story if by comparing the worker absenses reported by businesses compared to usual worker absenses showed that the movement was popular.
