so when the casing shrinks it pulls foil with it, so it doesnt side pin. I seem to have had problems with sidepins but this fixed it on my last grow.

That's why I use foil for my lining. It was suggested by Agar in a thread a month or two ago and I am doing it for the first time right now. On my first monotub I had a big problem with side pinning. We'll see how this one goes.
