Yea, I used to work in a 4 star as well.  Good shit there.  I may just look at some culinary schools around me.  I know chefs get paid for shit, but as long as I'm happy.

I mean, I've worked a number of different jobs. But, I really feel comfortable everytime I work in a kitchen.

I cook for a living, but I don't like the term chef, and I don't much like chefs. Chefs to me are the snobbish, whites-wearing assholes who use fancy french words and boss people around. Those guys suck. Cooks are just honest, hard-working folks who feed the world, a most honorable service fer sure.
Seriously, though, working in a kitchen is awesome. I meet a lot of cool guys, get to flirt with the waitstaff, learn very useful skills (everyone eats), and I get a free meal every day. Hard work, decent pay, and I don't hate it.

Plus, you can go damn near anywhere with cooking experience.
